This accredited training course involves the skills and knowledge required to secure cargo, in accordance with procedures and regulatory requirements, as part of work activities within the industry.
It includes preparing to secure cargo/containers, lashing and unlashing cargo, protecting cargo from weather and packing and unpacking cargo.
Work is performed under some supervision, generally within a team environment.

This Course covers the following:

• Prepare to secure cargo/containers

• Lash and unlash cargo

• Protect cargo from weather

• Pack and unpack cargo

• Identifying cargo, containers and goods

• Australian Dangerous Goods (ADG)

Completion of this training course will NOT authorise you to drive a vehicle carrying bulk dangerous goods – you will need to complete our Dangerous Goods Licence Course to obtain such a licence.
