$2,200.00Excl. GST· 6-hour course

Six-hour dangerous goods awareness course. Builds on the 4-hour essentials by adding two deeper modules: load restraint and chemical spill response. Suited to staff whose duties include not just handling dangerous goods but also securing loads or responding to spills.

Who is this course for?

  • Store persons and warehouse staff
  • Administration staff handling dangerous goods documentation
  • Managers and team leaders supervising dangerous goods operations
  • Transport and logistics personnel responsible for load securement or spill response

What does the 6-hour Dangerous Goods Awareness course cover?

  • Legal compliance fundamentals for handling dangerous goods
  • The nine classes of dangerous goods
  • Transport and handling procedures
  • Packing requirements and documentation
  • Hazchem codes
  • Responsibilities across the dangerous goods supply chain
  • Load restraint for dangerous goods loads
  • Chemical spill response and clean-up

How does this differ from the 4-hour course?

The 4-hour course covers awareness essentials. The 6-hour course adds load restraint and chemical spill response modules. If your team handles spills or secures dangerous goods loads as part of their role, the 6-hour version is the right fit.

How is the course delivered?

Six hours, face-to-face. Delivered at our Arndell Park training centre in NSW or on-site at your workplace. A training manual is included. This is a flat group-fee engagement, not per-seat.

What will I receive at the end?

A Certificate of Completion confirming workplace dangerous goods awareness training. Completion does not authorise you to drive a vehicle carrying bulk dangerous goods — that requires TLILIC0001, our Dangerous Goods Licence Course.
