Dangerous Goods Training Centre Pty Ltd ("DGTC") is committed to delivering high-quality, compliant and ethical training services. This Code of Practice sets out the standards we hold ourselves to.
Our Commitments
DGTC will:
- Educate ourselves, our clients and all those whom we work with, while we entertain them and create a positive learning environment.
- Educate our clients in all aspects of the transportation, handling and storage of dangerous goods, in conjunction with all aspects of driver training, WH&S, fatigue management and the use of all our safety equipment.
- Ensure our products and services are of the highest quality and value for money, and will use the latest, most up-to-date and most efficient training techniques.
- Provide people with the knowledge to make well-informed decisions in respect of their own business through a wide range of training courses and products, in which they will feel confident when operating within the various Government Acts and Codes.
- At all times, act with integrity in its dealings with all participants, clients and members of the community.
- Refrain from associating with any enterprise which could be regarded as acting in breach of its code of practice, policies or procedures.
- Publish clear, timely and appropriate information on training, delivery and assessment services to learners and to potential learners to identify and support their desired learning outcomes.
- Maintain and continually improve our Quality Management System.
Regulatory Compliance
DGTC will adopt such policies and practices to ensure the quality of vocational education and training programs offered are relevant and, in accordance with Robinson College, meet all of:
- Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA)
- VET Quality Framework
- Commonwealth, State and Territory legislation and licensing and regulatory requirements
DGTC will ensure ongoing compliance with legislative requirements and standards alongside Robinson College to provide:
- The training and support necessary to allow the learner to achieve competency
- A quality training and assessment experience for all learners
- Adequate facilities in which to conduct training and assessment
- Clear and accessible feedback and information on our policies
- Information pertaining to our Consumer Protection Officer
- Learners with access to their records upon request
Records and Staff
- DGTC maintains adequate records and ensures the security of all current and archived records.
- DGTC employs qualified staff and ensures continuation of staff training and development, sufficient to deliver courses on an ongoing basis.
