Privacy Policy

Dangerous Goods Training Centre Pty Ltd ("DGTC") is committed to protecting the privacy of our learners, clients, employees and members of the public. This Policy sets out how we collect, store, use and disclose personal information.


Our Commitments

  • DGTC takes all reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. This includes restricted access to electronic files, secure storage of paper files and secure backup of all data.
  • You are within your rights to request that updates be made to information that you feel is incorrect or out of date. Please contact the office to amend such information.

Audits and Government Access

DGTC is subject to audits by governing bodies. Access to your training/information file may be requested by, and provided to, government officers as evidence of audit reasoning. These bodies may include the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) and other governing State or Territory bodies including the Environmental Protection Authority.


Third-Party Access

Your training/personal file is unable to be accessed by a third party unless you provide written permission that identifies the content you wish to be made available to the third party requesting such documents.


Legislative Framework

DGTC is subject to the Privacy Act 1988 and the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000 and as such is committed to respecting the privacy of all learners, clients and employees. We will adhere to the thirteen (13) Australian Privacy Principles.
