One-day nationally recognised course for schedulers who plan and manage heavy-vehicle driver trips under a fatigue risk management system.
Who is this course for?
- Schedulers planning heavy-vehicle driver trips
- Operations managers with rostering responsibility
- Anyone exposed to chain-of-responsibility duties under the HVNL for scheduling
The NHVR requires that all schedulers who schedule drivers under a BFM or AFM accreditation demonstrate their competency with TLIF0006.
What does the course cover?
Aligned to the Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) and its Chain of Responsibility (CoR) provisions, administered by the NHVR:
- Fatigue risk management from the scheduler's perspective
- Scheduling practices that fit driver work and rest windows
- Chain-of-responsibility implications of trip planning under the HVNL
- Fatigue warning signs schedulers should plan around
- Workplace communication, documentation, audits, and incident response
How does this differ from TLIF0005?
TLIF0005 is the driver-side unit ("Apply a fatigue risk management system"). TLIF0006 is the scheduler-side unit ("Administer a fatigue risk management system"). Many operations need both across their team.
How is the course delivered?
One day, face-to-face at our Arndell Park training centre in NSW, or on-site at your premises for a private group.
What will I receive?
A Statement of Attainment for the unit TLIF0006 — Administer a fatigue risk management system, issued under RTO 90449 (Robinson Education Centre Ltd).
