  • Class C — flammable gases
  • Class E — energised electrical equipment

Never use on:

  • cooking oil or fat (Class F) — ABE does not cover Class F

30B Dry Powder ABE extinguishers are required in the cab or externally of vehicles transporting small amounts of dangerous goods. These extinguishers can be used for: Class A fires – (e.g. wood, paper, textiles) Class B fires – (e.g. flammable liquids like paint, solvents and oils) Class E fires – (e.g. energised electrical fires like switchboards and electrical motors)
